What cleanup in the sociyx CLI can list and remove, and what has actually been checked.
Alpha. The real-account results reported so far are Instagram scan, list and DM unsend. Other real logins and deletions remain unverified. Bluesky and Mastodon public reads have been checked live. Begin with a small, reviewed selection.

Pacing is deliberately conservative. Platforms can change their limits, and sociyx stops or waits when told to.
Bluesky
Records are listed and deleted directly in your own repository on your data server. Login is OAuth in a visible browser window on Bluesky's own page (you handle your password and 2FA, and sociyx never sees the password), or an app password typed at a hidden local prompt.

Verified so far
- Read-only scanning of a public account, paging through records. Checked live against public data.
- Looking up a missing record reports it as gone. Checked live.
- The start of the OAuth flow is accepted by Bluesky's servers. Checked live, with no login.
Not yet verified
- A real login (OAuth or app password), and any real delete.
- How long deletions take to show up in feeds and search.
- Any limit on how far back your history can be listed.
Not covered
Direct messages, your profile record, media files after deletion, and copies on relays, third-party archives and other people's quotes, replies and screenshots.
After each delete, sociyx reads the record back from your data server. That is the source of truth, but feeds and search can lag behind it. Details: Bluesky notes.
Mastodon
Works against the API of your home instance. Login is OAuth with PKCE in a visible browser on your instance's own page, with a manual code fallback if your instance rejects the local redirect.

Dates for favourites and bookmarks are the date of the original post, not of when you favourited or bookmarked it, so date filters apply to that.
Pace
Mastodon limits deleting and unboosting to 30 per 30 minutes per account, so sociyx waits 60 seconds between deletes. Ten thousand posts take roughly a week. Instances can change their limits.
Verified so far
Reading public posts page by page on mastodon.social, and a missing post being reported as gone. Both live, read-only.
Not yet verified
Any real login and any real delete, unboost, unfavourite or unbookmark.
Not covered
Direct messages, media attachments, poll votes, follows, lists, filters, profile fields, and copies on other servers. Other servers receive a delete request but are not guaranteed to honour it. Details: Mastodon notes.
Unofficial API, real risk. There is no official way to do this, so sociyx uses Instagram's private mobile API through a community library. That conflicts with Instagram's terms and can lead to challenges, temporary blocks, or in the worst case a disabled account. Slow pacing lowers the chance but does not remove it. Acting on your own data does not by itself make automation permitted.
Login opens a visible browser where you log in. sociyx never types into the page and never touches CAPTCHAs. A password method and an existing session file are also available.

No API lists your comments on other people's posts. You request your Instagram data export, import it, and sociyx tries to locate each comment. Some may need manual deletion.
Pace
30 to 45 seconds between writes, a one to three minute pause every 25, and a cap of 200 per day. A 1,000-item cleanup takes ten hours or more. If Instagram signals an action block, the job stops with a 24 hour cool-down.
Not covered
Message requests, story replies, likes on comments, tags, replies to comments, follows, and any backups Instagram keeps. DM unsend removes the message, but the other person may already have seen it, been notified, or exported it. Details: Instagram notes.
Researched, not built
These have been looked into. None is implemented, and there is no promised order or date.
