Privacy
What this website and cleanup in the sociyx CLI store, and where your data goes.
This website
- No analytics, trackers, advertising or fingerprinting.
- No cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is saved in your browser. No account or personal content is stored by this website.
- No forms, accounts or newsletter sign-up.
- No third-party requests: fonts, styles and scripts are all served from this site. Small scripts handle the theme preference, mobile navigation and copying install commands when you ask.
The hosting provider handles technical request details such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not add analytics, advertising or tracking to this website.
Links to GitHub and the platform documentation leave this site and follow those sites' own policies. This site sends no referrer when you follow them.
Cleanup in the sociyx CLI
- It runs on your computer. Scanned items, plans, exports and sessions are stored in a private local folder and are never uploaded by sociyx.
- No telemetry, no account, no hosted backend.
- Network traffic goes only to the platforms you choose to use. Bluesky identity lookups also go to plc.directory and the public Bluesky AppView.
- Your database and exports contain the text of your own posts. They are personal data but not credentials. The
secretsfolder does hold credentials, so protect it like a password.
More detail, including how to wipe local data, is in the safety page and the security policy.
Future offerings
Social media management and AI assistance are future directions, not yet available features. Any future service will explain its own data handling before you use it. This page describes the website and CLI cleanup features.
